Lily has had her first dip in the river. We have been up in Ellijay since Tuesday and yesterday we went up to Blue Ridge to see my Dad. We went down to a spot that belongs to a family friend on the Taccoa River. I was not sure that she was going to like it at all since the water was EXTREMELY cold. Sure enough, she had little to no appreciation for the water at first. I put her over on the bank where the silt/sand was and she squished her toes in it awhile. Slowly she extended her willingness to be deeper in the water- when I say deeper, I am only talking inches of course.
Anyway, by the time we left she was dipping her bottom in the water herself. That was pretty funny to watch. I am not sure she has reached the "fish" catagory that my siblings and I were in, but she is on her way...
