Today we took Lily to Trunk N Treat at her grandparents' church. She had a great time! She especially liked throwing/dropping the beanbags in the hole. She was one of the only kids there who were dressed for the weather. I felt really sorry for some of them, especially the little ones. What parent thinks its ok to put their kid in a cheapo nylon/polyester costume without anything under it when its 53 degrees and windy is an idiot. There was one little 3ish year old girl in a pink princess dress that looked absolutely frozen. Lily, on the other hand was completely toasty in her fleece butterfly outfit. I had worried she would be too hot but it was perfect for today's weather. She enjoyed "collecting" candy, although she doesn't eat any of it. Memaw and Pepaw brought her some apple crispers, raisins, and cracker sticks though so she had stuff to snack on.
